As BC Weightlifting, send clubs your club membership link, review each sanctioning application, approve it, then tell Uplifter so the club can be set up and added to your club directory.
- Clubs apply through your club membership link. Send it to your clubs with the steps in BC Weightlifting: purchase a club membership.
- An application has one of three statuses. Incomplete means the club started but hasn’t finished or paid. Waiting for Approval means it’s paid and submitted, ready for you to review. Approved means you’ve approved it.
- Approving isn’t the last step. Tell Uplifter about each club you approve, so the club can be set up and added to your club directory.
- Screenshots may show an earlier version of the screens. The steps describe the current screens.
Manage BC Weightlifting club sanctioning applications: share your club membership link, review and approve each application, then tell Uplifter so the club is set up.
-

-
Open your applications
On the Admin Dashboard, select Clubs → Affiliations. Every application in progress is listed, with its status.

Decide whether to contact clubs whose application has been Incomplete for a while.
-
Review the application
Select the arrow on an application for an overview, then open its details for the full application. See what to check below.
-
Approve the application
Change the status to Approved and save. You can also set a pending status with notes explaining what’s missing.
-
Tell Uplifter
Mark the club as approved in the sanction-approved column of the club follow-up sheet you share with Uplifter, and tag your Uplifter contact on the sheet. If you don’t have the sheet, contact Uplifter Support.
What to check in an application
The application details let you:
- resend the confirmation email to the applicant
- check the club’s listing, the application and who submitted it
- check that any required waiver is signed
- add a comment, for your own records or to update the applicant
- email the applicant from the application, using a saved template for follow-ups you send often
- add supporting documents
The questions tab shows every answer the club gave. You can edit an answer or save the answers as a PDF.
After you tell Uplifter
Uplifter contacts the club’s admin to set up the club, whether or not the club uses the platform for its own registrations. The club is then added to your club directory.
