Overview
This article will review how to take attendance within the Uplifter system. Please note that some of the access points noted in the article below may depend on the system permissions you have been granted.
In order to access the attendance options you will need the following permission: Admin.
Accessing The Admin Tools
- Log into your organization's Uplifter system
- Hover over your name at the top right
- Click Admin

- Log into your organization's Uplifter system
- Hover over your name at the top right
- Click My Account
- Click the Admin button

To access the admin side of the Uplifter system you first need to log into your member account. From there, hover over your name at the top right and click Admin within the menu. Alternatively, you can hover over your name and select My Account. On the My Account page you can select the Admin button.
Please note, if you do not see these options you will need to request permissions from your site admin.
Taking Attendance
Taking attendance can be done from the admin Dashboard page. This page has two main sections. At the top is the Quick Start Dashboard. The Quick Start Dashboard may require you to select "Show Me The Full Dashboard". It may also be hidden, which requires you to click the Show Dashboard section at the top of the page to show. Click again to hide it once more.
Please note, you can also take attendance through the Evaluations tool. If you intend to perform an evaluation it is more convenient to skip these two attendance taking methods and perform attendance within the evaluation feature.
Attendance Through The Quick Start Dashboard
- Click the Attendance
icon next to the appropriate program listing - Mark the attendees
- Click Take Attendance

To take attendance from the Quick Start Dashboard simply use the program listings on the right to find your desired instance. Click on the Attendance
icon next to said instance and the attendance pop-up will display. Mark your attendees and make any desired notes (which your members and participants can see). Click Take Attendance to save.
Attendance Through The Calendar
- Click the event listing on the calendar
- Select Attendance from the menu
- Mark the attendees
- Click Take Attendance

To take attendance from the calendar simply find the event listing on the day you wish to mark. Click the event listing and select Attendance from the menu. Mark your attendees in the pop-up and make any desired notes (which your members and participants can see). Click Take Attendance to save.
Adding Guest Participants
- Use the Guest Participant drop down to search for your desired participant
- Select the participant from the suggestions

There may be many reasons to add a guest participant to a program. To do so, simply use the Guest Participant drop down menu and begin typing the participant's name. Select the desired participant from the system suggestions to add them to the list. Guest skaters added in this manner will be indicated by the Guest icon. Guest participants are only added to this specific event, not the whole program.
Please note, there are two additional methods to add guest participants to a program/event. The first is through ticket redemption and the second is through the drop in feature. The drop in feature is handled completely by the system and/or site admins.
