See which coach requirements are still missing on your Uplifter Cycling account and complete each one, including your Sterling Volunteers background check and any Canvas courses, so your coach licence is issued.
- Register first. Your coach requirements only appear once you’ve registered as a coach with your league or association for the season.
- Sign in with the account you registered with. Your requirements are on that Uplifter Cycling account, not on a new one.
- Use only the Sterling Volunteers invitation from Uplifter Cycling. It’s linked to your league, so your background check requirement completes by itself once it passes.
- Your licence is issued automatically. When every requirement is met, the status changes from Pending Requirements to Issued.
Complete your coach requirements from your Uplifter Cycling account so your league or association can issue your coach licence. The steps are the same or very similar for every league.

Sign in
Sign in at upliftercycling.com with the same Uplifter Cycling account you used to register as a coach.

Open your memberships
Select My Pages, then Memberships. If your account holds several people, such as a coach and a student athlete, choose the coach’s profile first.

See what’s missing
On your coach membership, select Action Needed. A window lists the requirements still missing for that licence level.

Complete each requirement
Select How to Complete beside a requirement. It explains how to complete it and, if needed, how to send proof to your league or association.

Check your status
When every requirement is met, your licence status changes from Pending Requirements to Issued. If your league has set it up, you also get an email with a coach licence card attached as proof.
Background check through Sterling Volunteers
After you register for the season, you get an email from info@ccnbikes.com titled "Reminder: Please complete your background check". Open it and follow your own invitation to Sterling Volunteers. Check your junk or spam folder if it’s not in your inbox.
- No email, or lost it? You don’t need the email. In My Pages → Memberships, select Action Needed on your coach membership, then How to Complete beside the background check, then Complete Consent Form. It opens your own Sterling Volunteers invitation.
- Don’t see Complete Consent Form either? There may be a problem with your invitation. Contact Uplifter Support.
Courses in Canvas
Some leagues ask coaches to take courses or quizzes in Canvas, an online learning system. Uplifter Cycling creates a Canvas account for you, and its sign-in details are in the How to Complete window of that requirement. When you complete and pass a course or quiz in Canvas, your requirement updates by itself.
