Run the CanSkate Excellence and Star 1 to 5 Excellence programs, from coach webinars to club applications.
- At least one coach per club must attend a trainer webinar for the club to reach the Engaged level.
- To renew recognition, every coach teaching a CanSkate session must attend a refresher webinar.
- Webinars are free. The club pays its program fees in the cart when it submits its commitment.
- A new application stays in Waiting for approval until you change its status.
Run the CanSkate Excellence and Star 1 to 5 Excellence recognition programs in three stages: coaches attend a webinar, the club submits its engaged commitment, then you open the rest of the application.
-
Share the webinar registration
Coaches register on the program’s webinar page: CanSkate Excellence webinars or Star 1 to 5 Excellence trainer webinar. Each date is its own option on the page.
-
Add webinar dates
Each date is a registration category on the webinar’s Event Dashboard. To add one, open Configuration → Registration Categories on the CanSkate Excellence dashboard or the Star 1 to 5 Excellence dashboard.
-
Pull a date’s attendee list
On the webinar’s Dashboard tab, select the number of registrants beside the date. The list opens under Registrations, where you can generate a registration report.
-
Have clubs submit their commitment
Once a coach has attended, the club submits its engaged commitment from the CanSkate Excellence application or the Star 1 to 5 Excellence application. The club signs in, enters its base information and the engaged-status details (these vary by program), reviews the fee summary and pays in the cart.
-
Review new applications
You’re notified when a club submits. Every application is in the application listings, and a new one shows Waiting for approval.
-
Open the post-process step
When the club is ready to go on, change the status to Waiting for post process information. That switches on the application’s Post process tab.
-
Send the club the link
Copy the link to the Post process tab and send it to the club. The club completes the rest of the program application there.
A club can’t reach the post-process page until you change its status, so a club asking where the rest of the application went usually needs that change.
