As a Nordiq Canada or division admin on Uplifter Snow, review your officials' levels and requirements, update their division and club, give feedback with official cards and validate Rule of Two transcripts.
- A division is Nordiq Canada’s provincial or territorial sport organization (PTSO). Officials are affiliated with a division and a club when they register each year.
- Division admins see their own officials only. Nordiq Canada admins see every official.
- Each level has its own requirements. A level stays in Pending Requirements until every mandatory requirement is complete.
- Official cards are visible to the official. The official sees the card note, but never the staff note.
- Rule of Two transcripts need a manual check. Officials submit them through a form, and Nordiq Canada validates them.
- Screenshots may show an earlier version of the screens. The steps describe the current screens.
Manage your officials on Uplifter Snow: review their levels and requirements, update their division and club, give feedback and validate Rule of Two transcripts.
-
Division admins: open your division
On the Admin Dashboard, select Clubs → Clubs/Teams and open your division’s dashboard.
-
Division admins: open the affiliations list
Select the Affiliations tab. On a small screen, the tab may sit under a menu icon. Each affiliated official is listed with the highest level they’ve achieved and the next level they’re working on.
-
Nordiq Canada admins: find the official
Select Users → Profiles and search for the official’s name or email address. Open the profile. Under Memberships, select View next to the level you want to review.
-
Open the level
From the affiliations list, select Membership Details beside the official. The top section shows the official’s basic information and the level’s status.
-
Check the requirements
The next section lists the level’s requirements. Complete means the minimum for that requirement is met; Incomplete means it isn’t. Some requirements are mandatory and others optional.
-
Record a completion date
Under Attributes & Records, select Edit next to the attribute, for example OL1 Workshop - Completion Date. Enter the date and save.
Update an official’s division and club
-
Open the official’s Membership Details
Use the steps above.
-
Edit the affiliation
In the member’s affiliation section, select Edit, choose the right division and club, and save. The division’s admins now see the official on their dashboard.
Give feedback with an official card
Use an official card to record feedback about an official. Nordiq Canada has two card types:
- Positive Feedback: a green card.
- Constructive feedback or complaint: a yellow card.
An official can have several cards. Cards are shared between the divisions and Nordiq Canada.
-
Find the official
Select Users → Profiles, search by full name or email address and open the profile.
-
Add a card
Under Official Cards, select Add Identity Card and choose the card type.
-
Write the card note
Under Card Note, enter what the official will see on their Uplifter Snow profile.
-
Write the staff note
Under Staff Note, enter what you want other admins to know. The official doesn’t see it.
-
Add optional details
Set the effective date, the date the feedback was first given to you. Set an expiry date if the card should come off the official’s profile after a while. Attach a PDF or JPG file if you have one; the official doesn’t see the file.
-
Save
Save the card. It appears on the official’s profile, and the official sees it with their notifications in My Pages.
Validate a Rule of Two transcript
The CAC Understanding the Rule of Two module from the Coaching Association of Canada (CAC) doesn’t come into Uplifter Snow from the CAC Locker. Officials submit their transcript through the Safe Sport Training Rule of Two submission form, and Nordiq Canada is notified of each one.
-
Open the submission
On the Admin Dashboard, select Events → Events, search for the Rule of Two submission event and open it. On the Registrations tab, open the official’s registration.
-
Read the transcript
Open the transcript the official submitted.
-
Add an evaluation
Select Add Evaluation. Choose PASS if the transcript is valid, enter the date the official completed the module, and save.
-
Check the requirement
The Rule of Two requirement completes on the official’s profile. Completions are processed about every six hours, so allow a few hours.
