Ski NS requires minors to register with an accompanying adult who holds a General Membership. Set up two registration flows on your Club Dashboard: individual registration for adults and FIS athletes, and family registration for recreational athletes 17 and under.
- Minors register with an adult. Minors registering for an Entry Level, Recreational or National membership must register alongside an accompanying adult, who gets a General Membership. The adult can upgrade to an Official Membership later if needed.
- Your club needs two registration flows. Individual registration is for adults 18 and over and FIS athletes 16 and over. Family registration is for recreational athletes 17 and under.
- Family registration uses group categories. Each family option is a group category with a fixed group size and a $0 group price.
- Set up registration rules too. They make sure each registrant holds or buys the right Ski NS membership.

Set up individual and family registration for minors on your Club Dashboard, so Ski NS minors register together with an accompanying adult.

Create your individual registration categories
On your Club Dashboard, select Configuration → Registration Categories. Add one category per program, and a General Membership category at $0. Set Is used for to Indiv. & Group on every individual category. See Set up your Club Dashboard and club programs.

Add registration rules
Under Configuration → Registration Rules, add the rules that name the Ski NS memberships each program accepts.

Turn on group categories
Back in Configuration → Registration Categories, scroll down and select Yes to enable group registration categories.

Set the group options
Select Edit on the group setup. Choose price per participant, where the group manager registers all participants at once. Set Group Manager Notification to Disabled, and Collect Group Address and Enable Group Passphrase to Hidden. Select Save.

Add the family categories
Select Add New Group Category and fill in the fields marked in red. Create one category per family size (see "Family categories" below). Select Save after each one.

Rename the registration buttons
Under Configuration → Styling, rename the registration buttons so families can tell individual and family registration apart. Your club’s registration page then shows both options.
Family categories
For each family category:
- Category name: one per family size, for example Family with 1 child, Family with 2 children, Family with 3 children.
- Individual categories available: General Membership and every youth program that isn’t for FIS athletes.
- Group size: set the minimum and maximum to the same number: 2 for a family with 1 child, 3 for 2 children, 4 for 3 children.
- Price: $0. Members pay through the individual categories they choose.
