Please note this tutorial is not specific to any State League or Association - the majority of the steps for your League or Association will be the same or similar as shown below.
As a League admin you can mass update Coach or Athlete attributes.
Common attributes for Coaches include things like Certification Dates (Concussion Training, Abuse Awareness Training, etc etc).
Common attributes for Athletes attributes include Race Category, Plate/Bib Number, etc,
Step 1. Prepare your file
All uploads must be done in a Excel file, CSV format
The file must be only these 3 columns;
Column A : (CCN) Identity ID
Column B : Attribute Name
Column C : Attribute Value
1a. Where to find the CCN Identity ID - Column A
The CCN Identity ID for all your coaches and athletes are found in your League membership reports. First, find and open the appropriate Membership Organization. Coach or Athlete.

Open the membership organization, click the Reports tab, and update/download the appropriate Custom Report at the top of the list. Coach or Athlete.
In your report the first column will generally be the CCN Identity ID
1b. Where to find the Attribute Name - Column B
All attributes (Coach & Athlete) are found in the Profile (Person) Details. To determine the attribute name for your import file simply open any profile you have access to, scroll down to the bottom, find the appropriate attribute group, and copy & paste the name of the attribute into the column header of your report.

1c. Attribute Value - Column C. Required Formats.
Date values must be in YYYY-MM-DD format
Be sure to pay attention to the date needed for the attribute. Certain attributes require a COMPLETION date, while others require an EXPIRATION date.
Text-based attributes like Plate / Bib Number can be anything. Numbers. Letters.
Single-Option / Multi-Option attributes must match what's configured in the drop-down or checkbox menu on the system. If you're not sure of the exact formats please ask your CCN support representative.
Step 2. Upload your file
Access to the bulk import is found in the PEOPLE section where you'll find the import button at the far right in the blue header.

Click Import Attribute Records to open the import pop up.
Tick the box for Identity Attribute Import, select your file, and upload the CSV.
Step 3. Import Results
You'll be emailed a summary of your import. The email will come from info@ccnbikes.com
If there are no errors and the whole list was updated successfully your result email will show that
If your import does contain errors, they will be summarized in the email.
