Give a member a BCEA honorary life membership on HorseReg: set the BCEA - Honorary Life Member attribute to Yes on their profile, then create the membership and complete its group.
- Set the attribute first. Set BCEA - Honorary Life Member to Yes on the member’s profile before you create the membership.
- No payment is taken. You add the honorary membership by hand, so the member doesn’t go through registration or the cart.
- Search before you create anything. Add the membership to the member’s existing profile, so they don’t end up with a duplicate.

Assign a BCEA honorary life membership on HorseReg: mark the member as an honorary life member on their profile, then create the membership for them.

Find the member
On the Admin Dashboard, select Users → Profiles and search by the member’s full name or email address. Open their profile.

Set the attribute
Scroll to Attributes & Records and find BCEA - Honorary Life Member. Select Edit, choose Yes and save.

Create the membership
Scroll back up to the memberships section. Under Create membership for organization, search for BCEA - Honorary Life Member, select it, then select Create Membership. The member’s Membership Details page opens.

Add the group
Scroll to Purchase Group. Choose the option in the Add a new group drop-down and select Add group.

Complete the group
When the page has refreshed, scroll back to Purchase Group, tick the box at the top right of the new group and select Save. The honorary membership is now on the member’s profile.
