Register for your annual Hang Gliding and Paragliding Association of Canada (HPAC) pilot membership on 2mev.com, then have your instructor or senior instructor submit your pilot or instructor rating.
- You need a valid HPAC pilot membership first. No pilot or instructor rating can be submitted or approved without one.
- Your instructor submits your rating, not you. Pilot ratings are submitted by an instructor; instructor ratings by a senior instructor. Contact them once you’ve registered.
- Registering someone else? They get an email link to sign the waiver, and their membership isn’t valid until they sign it.
- Check everything on the summary page. It’s your last chance to make changes before you pay.

Once your membership is registered, contact your senior instructor. Your senior instructor submits your instructor information, which determines your rating.
Submit a rating (for instructors)
Instructors submit a rating by recording an evaluation for the pilot or instructor on the Admin Dashboard. Senior instructors submit instructor ratings the same way. Follow the walkthrough Registering an evaluation in the dashboard.
Before you start, check that:
- Your HPAC membership for the current year is active.
- Your account shows the instructor rating you need to submit the rating.
If you can’t select a rating or can’t find the pilot’s or instructor’s profile, email HPAC at admin@hpac.ca with your name, your HPAC number, the person’s name and the rating you need to enter. HPAC adds you as an evaluator and gives you access to their profile.
Who can submit which rating
- Instructor (Pilot Instructor): pilot ratings P1 to P4.
- Senior Instructor (Senior Pilot Instructor): pilot ratings P1 to P4, and new Instructor or Senior Instructor ratings. A Senior Instructor rating needs an approved letter from HPAC’s Board of Directors.
- Senior Tandem Instructor: new Tandem Instructor or Senior Tandem Instructor ratings. A Senior Tandem Instructor rating needs an approved letter from HPAC’s Board of Directors.
- Tandem Instructor and Apprentice Instructor: no rating or approval privileges.
For questions about your rating or membership, contact HPAC. If you can’t sign in or the page won’t load, contact Uplifter Support.
