Overview
When you enable the new user interface, you are taken to the Dashboard, which serves as your administrative homepage.
From the Dashboard, you can:
View high-level membership activity for the organizations you manage
Access key administrative areas using the navigation menus
Monitor activity at a glance before drilling into detailed pages
Navigation Basics
The admin interface includes two main navigation areas:
Left Navigation Menu
The left navigation menu provides access to all major administrative sections.
It can be expanded or collapsed using the icon in the top-left corner of the page
It remains available as you move between different areas of the admin interface
Top Navigation Menu
The Top Navigation menu is always visible at the top of the admin interface and allows you to perform common tasks from anywhere in the system, including:
- Search for records using the Quick Search bar, which displays profiles, registrations, and memberships in a clear, linear format. After submitting a search, you are taken to the Quick Search tab to view results.
- Switch between organizations using the Financial Organization dropdown without leaving your current page.
- Change the interface language at any time using the English / French toggle.
- Access help resources through the Knowledge Base shortcut.
These tools remain available regardless of which tab or workflow you are using.
Dashboard Tab
The Dashboard displays membership data and trends based on the Financial Organization and Membership Organization you select.
Membership Organization Dropdown
On the Dashboard, you first select a Financial Organization. Once selected, a second dropdown appears on the left side of the page, allowing you to choose a Membership Organization (for example, Annual Membership 20YY). This second dropdown may not appear if you only have access to one Financial Organization.
Financial Organizations determine which accounts you are viewing, while Membership Organizations determine which membership data is displayed. Together, they control what information appears on the Dashboard.
When you select a Membership Organization, all counts, cards, and charts update automatically to reflect your selection. You can use the Make this my default view button to save your choice for future visits.
Key metrics
After you select a Membership Organization, two metric cards appear side by side on the Dashboard. These cards summarize current membership activity for your selected organization.
| Active Members | Active Memberships |
|
Shows the number of active members (unique individuals or profiles). Selecting this card highlights it and updates the chart to display member trends. The View Members link opens the members list in the old dashboard in a new browser tab. |
Shows the number of active memberships for the selected Membership Organization. Selecting this card highlights it and updates the chart to display membership trends. The View Memberships link opens the memberships dashboard in the old version, pre-filtered by your selected Membership Organization. |
If no Membership Organization is selected, both cards display a value of zero.
Note: A single individual (profile) may hold more than one membership (for example, a recreational membership and a coaching membership).
Membership trend chart
A bar chart visualizes trends over time for the currently selected metric (active members or active memberships).
- The x-axis displays dates, shown daily for a one-month range and aggregated monthly for six- or twelve-month ranges.
- The y-axis shows whole-number counts with no decimals.
- Hovering over a bar displays a tooltip with the formatted date and the corresponding count for that period.
Time range controls
Use the time range controls to change the period displayed in the trend chart. You can choose from:
- Last month
- Last 6 months
- Last year
When you select a new time range, the chart updates to show data for that period. These controls appear near the top-right of the chart area and may display as toggle buttons or a dropdown menu, depending on screen size.
