Must know
- Results attach to a structure: set up the season, competition levels and categories first, or uploaded results have nothing to attach to.
- Results can be entered directly or uploaded from a CSV file.
- Every upload is recorded in the History Log, with who uploaded it, when, and how many results failed.
- This menu appears only when its product is active on your account — if you don't see it, ask your Uplifter contact.
Publish competition results for races, meets, tournaments and leagues, along with the structure they belong to. Open Results Management in the left menu, or Results under Events.
What's under Results Management
-
Seasons — the competitive year that groups everything else. Create a Season adds one; the list shows each season's dates and how many events it holds.
-
Competition Categories — the divisions people compete in, which results are recorded against. Add one with Add Category.
-
Competition Levels — the tiers or grades within your sport, from entry level to elite. Each level records its discipline or type, organization, requirements, foreign IDs (the IDs another system uses for it) and how its result is calculated. Add one with Add Level.
-
Venues — where competitions take place, with their country and province or state, reused across events. Add one with Create a Venue.
-
Results — every result, with its event, venue, start date, category, competition level, competitor, result value and status. Add Result enters one, Import from CSV uploads a file, and Edit Filters or Exact Match narrow the list.
-
Reports — ranking reports, filtered by ranking body and by category.
-
History Log — every upload: when, what type, who uploaded it, the event, how many results loaded and how many failed.
- Rosters — AthleticsReg only: saved lists of members you can register in an event in one pass. See Bulk register participants or manage a roster.
Setting it up in order
Create the season first, then the competition levels and categories inside it, then the venues. Once that structure exists, enter or upload the results. Building it the week before a competition is far easier than the night results are due.
Corrections are normal in results. The History Log lists every upload, who made it and how many results failed, so a failed row is quick to find and fix.
