How event sanctioning and club affiliation applications collect fees, reach the right approvers and record the result on the Enterprise Portal.
- Available when Event Sanctioning or Club Affiliation is active on your organization's account — ask your Uplifter account manager to add it.
- Both run on the Enterprise Portal, and an organizer or club can apply from its own dashboard only when its governing body runs the process on Uplifter.
- Uplifter builds each application process, including its questions, fees and approval levels.
- Nothing rolls forward on its own: dates, emails and changed fees are re-set each season.
Two application processes on one engine: event sanctioning, where an organizer applies to a governing body for a sanction or permit, and club affiliation, where a club or team applies to affiliate for the season. Your staff review and approve from the association's approvals dashboard.
How an application works
The organizer or club administrator selects Add affiliation/sanctioning/permit on their event or club dashboard home page, or starts from the link you share. The application collects your questions, a signed agreement and any documents you ask for, and any online fee is paid at submission.
Once it's submitted, the application waits for your review. The approval status and your notes then show on the applicant's own dashboard, and an approved application carries valid-from and valid-to dates for the season.
What you can set up
- Fees that follow the answer — flat, per quantity, by option chosen, or a late fee by date.
- National fees explained — the application doesn't split a fee between organizations, but custom text can tell your clubs and teams that part of the annual affiliation fee is set by, and owed to, the national sport organization (NSO).
- Offline payment — cash, cheque or transfer, recorded against the application once your staff confirm it.
- Approval by level — regional bodies approve their own clubs and the NSO approves at national level, each with a note.
- Directories and calendars — a calendar of sanctioned events and a directory of affiliated organizations, driven by each application's valid dates.
- Clubs at event registration — registrants and teams pick their club from the season's controlled list instead of typing it.
Who does what each season
Your staff review, approve or reject, record offline payments, refund fees and export the list from the dashboard. Uplifter builds and changes the process itself, so send next season's changes well before renewal opens.
