How Club 1.0 keeps each organization’s data separate, and how permissions control who sees member data.
- Every organization on Club 1.0 has its own database, with nothing shared between organizations.
- A member needs a separate account for each organization they join, even when both use Uplifter.
- A new account can see only its own details and buy what’s for sale until an admin grants it permissions.
How Club 1.0 keeps each organization’s data apart, and how permissions decide who on your team can see members’ information.
How your data is kept separate
Uplifter creates a separate database for each club or organization that signs up for Club 1.0, so there’s no shared space between organizations. The trade-off is that members sign up again at each organization, because an account on one site doesn’t exist on another.
Who can see members’ information
Permissions are the main privacy control you have. By default, someone who creates an account can see and manage only their own account and buy items on your site. An admin grants permissions, one group at a time, to open up anything more, including members’ and participants’ personal information.
Keep permission groups as narrow as each role needs, and review them when someone joins or leaves your team. For questions about privacy or security, email support@uplifterinc.com.
