Give a new admin access to your Club 1.0 site before you leave, or get access when you take over.
- Only an existing admin can give someone admin access to your site.
- The new admin needs their own member account on your site first.
- If no admin is left to give access, Uplifter Support can help.
Give the next admin access to your Club 1.0 site before you leave, so they have every tool they need on day one. You do it from their member account, under People & Accounts → Member Accounts.
-
Have them create an account
Ask the new admin to create a member account on your site, or send them an invitation from Settings → Permissions with the Invite A Member icon, choosing the permission group they’ll join.
-
Open their member account
Go to People & Accounts → Member Accounts and select the new admin.
-
Add the permission group
In Member Permission Groups, add Full Admin Access, or a narrower group if they need less, and save.
-
Check their access
Ask them to sign in and open the admin pages they’ll use. Do this before you leave, while you can still fix a missing permission.
Taking over a site where the previous admin has already left and no one else can grant access? Email support@uplifterinc.com and Uplifter will help you get in.
