As a Biathlon Canada admin on Uplifter Snow, see how each official and Safe Sport requirement is checked, validate the forms officials submit, choose who reviews and who is notified, and record background checks done outside Uplifter Snow.
- Requirements are set per level. Biathlon Canada keeps the official requirements per level and the Safe Sport requirements per level in two spreadsheets.
- Some requirements check themselves. Biathlon Canada memberships come from Zone4, and Coaching Association of Canada (CAC) courses come from the CAC Locker.
- The others are forms you validate. References, screening forms, competition experience and Rule of Two transcripts each arrive as a submitted form, and you’re notified by email.
- Only listed reviewers can validate Rule of Two transcripts. Add new admins as attendance recorders first.
- Screenshots may show an earlier version of the screens. The steps describe the current screens.

How each requirement completes
- Biathlon Canada membership: checked automatically with Zone4 when the official first registers, when the requirement rolls over to a new season and whenever the official opens their requirements. If an official can’t be verified, contact Uplifter Support.
- CAC Locker courses: completion dates come in automatically from the CAC Locker, which syncs every 24 hours, usually overnight Pacific time.
- CAC Understanding the Rule of Two eLearning Module: officials submit their transcript through the Rule of Two submission form, and an attendance recorder validates it.
- Screening and reference applications: officials submit them online on Uplifter Snow, and you validate them.
- Competition experience: officials submit their competitions worked online, and you validate them.
- E-PIC background check: required for technical delegates, instructors and Safe Sport Levels 2 and 3. See below.
