Get your snowboard club sanctioned for the season on Uplifter Snow: fill in your club's listing, answer your PTSO's application questions, set up your registration categories and pay. Returning clubs start from their renewal link.
- Returning club? Use your renewal link. Your provincial or territorial sport organization (PTSO) sends each club a unique renewal link. It opens an application pre-filled with last season’s answers for you to review and confirm.
- You can stop and come back. Save the section you’re working on. Your application is waiting under Copy from an existing listing or continue an existing application when you return.
- Your club’s season runs from July 1 to June 30. Use these dates for a snowboard or freestyle club.
- Questions marked with a red asterisk are required. A section won’t save until they’re all answered.
- Your PTSO reviews your application first, then Canada Snowboard approves it. For questions about the information or documents needed, contact your PTSO.
Submit your club’s affiliation application to Canada Snowboard: fill in your club’s listing, answer the application questions, set up your registration categories and pay.
-
Open the application
If you have a renewal link, open it and go to step 4. Otherwise, go to upliftersnow.com, scroll down to the map of Canada and select your province or territory. Select your sport, then Club Sanctioning. Read your PTSO’s instructions on its page, then start your application. Check that you’re filling in your own PTSO’s process.
-
Fill in your listing
Enter your club’s basic information, with a start date of July 1 and an end date of June 30. To continue an unfinished application or reuse an earlier listing, choose Copy from an existing listing or continue an existing application. Search if you have many listings, then continue the application or copy the listing into a new one. Save the listing.
-
Choose a classification and add links
Choose the classification that fits your club, so people can find it in your PTSO’s directory, and add your social media links. Select Save and Continue.
-
Choose your application type
Choose whether you’re applying as a not-for-profit or a for-profit club. Confirm your contact address, or edit it if it’s changed.
-
Answer the questions
Complete each section: Club Main Contact Details, Club Overview and Additional Information. You may see fewer sections, and the questions can vary by sport.
-
Set up your registration categories
Create the categories and prices your club will offer; see the next section. Save after the last category.
-
Review and pay
Select Done to see your cost summary, then select Pay Online. Read each waiver, enter your name and select I agree to the above. In the cart, complete or confirm your billing address, enter your payment details and select Submit & Complete.
Set up your registration categories
This is the start of your club’s registration process: the memberships and programs your members will buy.
- Add a category: select Add New Category and enter a category name, for example "Annual Membership - Adult". This is required.
- Add details, if you want: a description, a maximum number of registrations, and age or gender restrictions.
- Add a price: this is required. The price name fills in from the category name.
- Add more categories: add each one the same way. If the next category is similar, use Copy Existing Registration Category and change what’s different.
