Build event and club registration on the Enterprise Portal, require a membership at checkout, and get paid into your own merchant account.
- The Event Dashboard comes with every Enterprise Portal admin account, whatever products your organization has.
- The Club Dashboard is available when it's active on your organization's account — ask your Uplifter account manager to add it.
- A membership rule works only where the association sells its memberships on Uplifter.
- Discounts don't stack: when someone qualifies for more than one, only the largest applies.
Build event and club registration on the Enterprise Portal, clone it for next time, and get paid into your own merchant account. Events live under Events in the left menu and clubs under Clubs.
How a registration is built
Registration attaches to the person, so a returning athlete is recognized from one event to the next. Every registration uses the same pieces:
- Registration Categories — what people can enter, each with its own dates, price, age range and gender rule.
- Information to Collect — your own questions and file uploads, plus profile fields set to Required, Optional or Hidden.
- Agreements to Sign — waivers and codes of conduct, carried over when you clone.
- Waitlist — cap an event or a category and the waitlist starts when it fills. You invite people off it by email.
- Notifications — confirmation, staff and date-based emails.
- Stores — extra items sold alongside registration, such as team clothing. See Stores and merchandise.
Prices can change by date, coupon codes apply at checkout, and your refund policy is shown for the registrant to accept before they pay. Registrants export to CSV or Excel whenever you need a list.
Requiring a membership
An event or club program can require an association membership. The registration names the memberships that qualify, and anyone who doesn't hold one buys it in the same cart. Eligibility is re-checked automatically at intervals, so a change made a moment ago may not show yet.
Team and group categories are set up by Uplifter.
Event Dashboard or Club Dashboard?
- Event Dashboard — one event, program, camp or series. You set it up one menu at a time, then clone it for the next one.
- Club Dashboard — each affiliated club's own dashboard, run by the club's administrators. A club administrator sees only their own club's members, and Uplifter pairs each club dashboard with its affiliation.
Either way, fees settle to your own merchant account. You apply for it, Uplifter connects it once the processor approves, and you decide whether the registrant or you pay the processing fee.
Club 1.0 and Club 2.0 are separate club platforms, and Club 2.0 has its own Club 2.0 documentation. Curling clubs can use Curling Club Manager, now part of Uplifter.
