Apply for your freestyle club's sanctioning on Uplifter Snow each season: open your PTSO's application or your renewal link, fill in your listing, answer the questions, add your registration categories, then pay and submit.
- Every freestyle club applies each year. Your provincial or territorial sport organization (PTSO) and Freestyle Canada, the national sport organization (NSO), both approve the application. Uplifter then contacts you to set up your registration process.
- Applied last season? Your PTSO sends you a renewal link. It opens an application already filled in with last season’s answers, so you only review and confirm them.
- You can stop and come back. Save the section you’re working on. Your unfinished application waits for you the next time you open the process.
- A freestyle club season runs from July 1 to June 30. Use those dates as your club’s start and end dates.
- Screenshots may show an earlier version of the screens. The steps describe the current screens.
Apply for club sanctioning for your freestyle club on Uplifter Snow: fill in your club’s listing, answer your PTSO’s questions, set up your registration categories, then pay and submit.
-
Open your PTSO’s sanctioning process
Using a renewal link? Open it, sign in and go to step 4. Otherwise, go to Uplifter Snow, scroll down to the map of Canada and select your province or territory. Select freestyle, then Club Sanctioning. Read your PTSO’s instructions, then start your application. Check that the process is your PTSO’s.
-
Fill in your listing
The listing is your club’s basic information. Enter July 1 as the start date and June 30 as the end date, complete the required fields and save. To reuse an earlier listing, choose Copy from an existing listing or continue an existing application, search for your club and copy its information into a new application.
-
Choose a classification and add links
Pick the classification that fits your club, so registrants can find it in the directory search, and add your social media links. Select Save and continue.
-
Choose your application type
Choose whether you’re applying as a not-for-profit or a for-profit club. Confirm your contact address, or edit it if it has changed.
-
Answer the questions
Complete up to three sections: Club Main Contact Details, Club Overview and Additional information. The questions vary by sport. Every question marked with a red asterisk (*) is mandatory: a section can’t be saved until they’re all answered.
-
Add your registration categories
Add a category for each membership your club offers, with its name (for example, Annual Membership - Adult) and its price. You can also add a description, a maximum number of registrations and age or gender limits. For a similar category, use Copy Existing Registration Category and change what’s different. When the last category is saved, finish the section to see your cost summary.
-
Pay and submit
Select Pay Online. Read each waiver, enter your name and select I agree to the above. In the cart, complete or confirm your billing address, enter your payment details and complete your order. Your application goes to your PTSO for review.
Finish an application later
Open your PTSO’s sanctioning process again and choose Copy from an existing listing or continue an existing application. Your listings and applications are listed; search if you have more than five. Choose to continue the incomplete application and carry on where you stopped.
After you submit
Your PTSO reviews the application first, then Freestyle Canada. Once both approve it, Uplifter contacts your club to set up your registration process for the season. See Freestyle Canada: set up your club registration process.
