Send an event’s or club’s registrants to a Mailchimp audience with an API key, then email them from Mailchimp.
- You need a Mailchimp account and an audience before you connect.
- Use a new API key for each audience you connect.
- The key only gives access to your Mailchimp audiences, and you can delete or regenerate it in Mailchimp at any time.
Send your registrants to a Mailchimp audience so you can email them from Mailchimp. You connect it under Configuration → Mailchimp Integration on the event or club dashboard.

Set up Mailchimp
If you don’t have one yet, create a Mailchimp account, then create an audience for your registrants.

Get an API key
Sign in to Mailchimp and generate an API key for the audience.

Open the integration
Open the event or club dashboard, then select Configuration → Mailchimp Integration. For an event, open Events → Events and select the gear icon or status button on its row first.

Connect the audience
Choose whether to create a new list or add to an existing one. Enter your API key, pick the audience from the list and select Submit. The advanced options let you split the audience into subgroups and filter who goes where.
