Add a store item with its fee, tax and images, then give it purchase options with prices, stock and limits.
- Every item needs at least one purchase option. That's where the price and stock live.
- Required Shipping asks the purchaser for a shipping address. It doesn't add a shipping charge.
- Store purchases are orders under your Financials tab, and each one can be refunded without refunding the registration.
- The Foreign ID you give an item appears in your reports.
An item is what buyers see in the store, and its purchase options are the sizes or versions they pick. You add both from the store itself, under Configuration → Stores.

Open the store
On the event or club dashboard, open Configuration → Stores, then open the store and add a store item.

Describe the item
Enter a Store Item Name and a Description. The editor handles formatting, links, images, buttons and embeds such as a sizing video. Upload a Primary Image and any Additional Images.

Set the fee and tax
Under Who is paying the processing fee?, choose User to pass the fee to the purchaser or Organizer to absorb it. Add a Foreign ID such as a SKU or accounting code if you use one. Under Do you need to charge sales tax?, choose Yes to set a tax rate for this item.

Add purchase options
Select Add Purchase Option for each version you sell, such as a size. Stock is counted per option, so T-shirts in four sizes are four options, each with its own count. For each one:
- Name it and set Price before Tax.
- Leave Unlimited at Yes, or choose No and enter an In Stock quantity. Sales stop when it runs out.
- Set Per Registration Limit to cap how many one registrant can buy.
- Turn on Required Shipping for anything you'll mail out.
- Set Available to No to hide one option, like a sold-out size.

Write the purchase email
Select Activate Advanced Configuration, then fill in Purchase Product Email Subject Header and Purchase Product Email Body. Buyers of this option get your text, which is the place for pickup times or delivery estimates.

Save
Save the item. It appears in the store with its options, and the quantity sold updates as people buy.
If the tax fields on an item can't be edited, your organization uses location-based tax, which Uplifter sets up. Shipping charges are set up by Uplifter too. For either, ask your Uplifter contact.
