As an Athletics Canada branch, review and approve your clubs' annual affiliation applications on AthleticsReg, send clubs their renewal links and download your list of affiliated clubs.
- Your branch is the provincial or territorial sport organization (PTSO). Clubs apply to your branch each year, and you approve their applications on AthleticsReg.
- The affiliation links don’t change from season to season. Clubs use the same process every year, so the same link and the same application report carry over.
- An application has one of three statuses. Incomplete means the club started but hasn’t finished or paid. Waiting for Approval means it’s submitted and paid, and it’s your turn to review it. Approved means you’ve approved it.
- A club’s dashboard goes live only after you approve. Uplifter then reviews the Club Dashboard and contacts the club, and your representative is copied when it’s activated.
- Screenshots may show an earlier version of the screens. The steps describe the current screens.
As a branch admin, manage club affiliation on AthleticsReg: review and approve your clubs’ annual applications, send renewal links and download your list of affiliated clubs.
-
Open your applications
On the Admin Dashboard, select Clubs → Affiliations in the left menu. You see every application for the affiliation types your branch manages. Use the search and filters to find one, for example all applications waiting for approval.
-
Review the club’s information
Open the application. The overview shows the club’s main information. Use it to add notes, email the applicant or attach documents.
-
Check the club’s answers
Open the application details. They hold the club’s answers to the questions Uplifter set up for your branch, including the Club Dashboard option the club chose: Option A, Option B or undecided.
-
Follow up on incomplete applications
An Incomplete application hasn’t been submitted or paid. Decide whether to follow up with the club, for example by emailing the applicant from the application.
-
Check the listing dates
The listing start is when the club appears in your directory, and the listing end is when its affiliation ends. Make sure the club’s dashboard has the membership registration rules your branch requires.
-
Approve the application
Change the application status to Approved and save. The applicant gets your approval email, and Uplifter follows up with the club.
Send clubs their renewal links
Each club has its own renewal link. It opens a copy of the club’s last application, already filled in, so the club only updates what changed and submits.
-
Open your club applications report
Select Memberships → Sanctioning Organizations, open your club affiliation organization and go to its reports.
-
Update the report, then download it
Update the application report first so it includes the latest applications. If you manage more than one application type, each type has its own report.
-
Copy each club’s link
The renewal link is in the report’s last column. Use the link from the club’s most recent application.
-
Email your club admins
Send each club its renewal link. New clubs use your branch’s general affiliation link from Athletics: get your club started on AthleticsReg.
Download your list of affiliated clubs
The same application report is your list of affiliated clubs. It holds every club application since your branch started on AthleticsReg, because the process is the same every year.
- To see only this season, filter on the listing valid from and listing valid to columns. Those dates show how long each club’s affiliation lasts and when the club appears in your directory.
- To see each club’s members, clubs can follow Athletics: view your club’s affiliated member list.
Keep your affiliation link easy to find
Make sure clubs can reach your branch’s affiliation process from:
- The Annual Club Affiliation Process button on the AthleticsReg home page map.
- The AthleticsReg Resources for clubs page.
- The club affiliation page on your own branch website.
