Apply for the Paysafe merchant account that moves registration and membership fees to your bank, from inside the Enterprise Portal, in five sections.
- The applicant must be an authorized representative named in your articles of incorporation. A volunteer can't submit it, and an application from one is delayed.
- Your business legal name and bank account name must match exactly. A mismatch is the most common cause of delayed deposits.
- The application takes 20 to 30 minutes once your information and documents are ready.
- An application is withdrawn after 30 days with no reply to Paysafe. Any reply keeps it open.
Apply for the Paysafe merchant account that moves registration and membership fees from your customers to your bank. You start it from inside the Enterprise Portal, and the application has five sections.
-
Open the Paysafe application
There's no Paysafe item in the main menu. Start it from the Create Event wizard, from Financials → Account Details, or from the link your Onboarding Specialist sends you. You need a financial account (eOrg) in Uplifter first.
-
Create your Paysafe login
Use an organization email address that someone checks regularly. Paysafe sends every follow-up to this address.
-
Complete Business Information
Enter your business legal name exactly as it appears on your bank statements, then your address, website, business or tax ID, statement descriptor and the Additional Business Information figures. Estimates are fine.
-
Complete Account Information
Select your payment methods and currencies, then add your Primary contact, the person Paysafe emails about the application.
-
Complete Ownership Information
Add each director, each owner with 25% or more and the Control Prong, using their own home address, date of birth and SIN, then set their roles. Each person clears an automated identity check.
-
Complete Banking Information
Enter your bank details and upload a void cheque or bank letter for each settlement currency, in a name that matches your Doing Business As name.
-
Review and sign
Check every section in Final Review, read the Merchant Terms and your fee details, then sign in DocuSign. Paysafe confirms receipt by email.
If Paysafe needs anything else, it emails your Primary contact. Reply to platformonboarding@paysafe.com within 30 days, even just to say you're working on it. After approval, the account shows as APPROVED on your dashboard only once your first payout runs.
