What each FederationConnector message at club checkout means, and what to do to finish registering.
- The check matches the participant’s first name, last name and date of birth, not the account holder’s.
- A second membership won’t clear any message, and it will need a refund.
- Your spot isn’t held while you leave to buy or renew. It’s reserved only once you reach the final cart.
When you register for a program on a club’s Uplifter Club 1.0 site, FederationConnector checks the participant’s association membership. A tooltip under the participant’s name lists the memberships the program accepts, in your association’s own naming. Check it before buying: only some of an association’s memberships cover a given program.
What each message means
- Membership expired — the participant and the membership were found, but its valid dates have passed. Renew on your association’s page using the link in the message, and register again once the renewal is issued.
- Membership not approved — the membership isn’t in a state the check accepts. Most often it was bought in the last day or two and isn’t issued yet; some associations accept a paid membership awaiting approval, others only an issued one. It also covers cancelled, suspended and refunded memberships. Check the status on your association’s site: if it’s new, wait for it to be issued and try again; if it’s cancelled or suspended, contact them.
- Check participant info — nothing on the association’s records matched the exact name and date of birth on the club profile. Fix the club profile with Edit participant, or the association record through your account with them. If there’s genuinely no membership, buy one.
- Request failed — the check itself failed. Nothing is wrong with your account, your details or the membership, and neither you nor your club can fix it. It’s ours: email support.
Why the details don’t match
- A nickname on one platform and a legal name on the other.
- A missing or extra hyphen or space in a surname.
- A two-part surname entered in a different order.
- A date of birth with the month and day swapped.
- A parent’s own details entered instead of the child’s, which is the most common of all.
What to send support
Email support@uplifterinc.com with a screenshot of the whole message, the club site, the program or event name, the membership named in the message, and the date and time. A message asking you to contact a system administrator goes there too. There’s no system administrator for you or your club to contact.
Before your club’s registration opens, sign in to your association’s membership portal and check that each participant’s membership is issued and its valid dates cover the season.
