For club admins on Club 1.0: tell from a blocked member’s FederationConnector message who resolves it, the member, their association or Uplifter.
- Most blocks aren’t yours to fix. Every outcome routes to the member, their association or Uplifter.
- A blocked registration doesn’t hold the spot. A place is held only once the participant reaches the final cart.
- A second membership purchase never clears a block, and it will need a refund.
For club admins on Uplifter Club 1.0. When a member can’t register for a program on your club’s site, ask for a screenshot of the whole message. The reason it gives tells you where it goes.
Who resolves each message
- Membership expired — the member. They renew on the association’s membership page and come back once the renewal is issued.
- Membership not approved — the association. The membership isn’t issued yet (unless the association’s check also accepts Processing), is still in Pending Requirements, or is cancelled, suspended or refunded. Point the member to their account on the association’s portal, or ask the association to check the record.
- Check participant info — whoever holds the wrong record. The member fixes the club profile with Edit participant and tries again; the association fixes theirs.
- Request failed — Uplifter. Send it to support@uplifterinc.com with the screenshot, your club site, the program name and the time.
When you ask the association to check
Ask them to read the valid dates, not just the status. Depending on how their memberships are configured, one can keep an Issued status after its valid dates pass, and someone who reads only the status will tell your member everything looks fine.
What you can check yourself
Open the program, go to Advanced Settings, and confirm Memberships Required has at least one membership selected and that they’re the ones your association intends. You can’t change which memberships exist or which statuses count, which belong to the association, nor the message wording or the connection, which are Uplifter’s.
For a program that fills quickly, tell members before registration opens that a spot isn’t held, and remind them to renew with the association before your registration date, not on the night.
