Move a person's profile from one login to another from the Profiles section of their current user account.
- Only a non-primary profile can be moved. The primary profile is the account's owner and stays with it.
- After the move, the profile belongs to the destination account, and that account's owner can register the person.
- To consolidate or link family accounts, contact support@uplifterinc.com.
Move a person to the right login, such as a teenager who now needs their own account or a child added under the wrong parent. You do it from the account the profile sits under now.
-
Open the current account
Go to Users → User Accounts and open the account the person is under now. Scroll to the Profiles section.
-
Select Move profile
Find the profile to move and select Move profile.
-
Find the destination account
In the popup, search with the first and last name of the destination account's primary profile and that account's email address. Results include partial matches, so check both the name and the email before you select one.
-
Move the profile
Select the matching account, then select Move. The profile now shows under the destination account.
If no account matches, create one with the person's details, choosing your organization in Select the organization that can view & manage this person so you can manage it. Then open the original account again and repeat the move to the new account. If the person already has a profile on the destination account, don't move this one: merge the two instead.
