Use the Event Dashboard for events, programs, camps and competitions, and one Club Dashboard a year to collect club or team membership dues.
- Club events, seasonal programs, education events, camps and competitions all go on the Event Dashboard.
- A club has one Club Dashboard per year, unless it uses club seasons.
- Use the Club Dashboard to collect the annual dues for becoming a club or team member.
- The Club Dashboard is a separate product from the Event Dashboard, available on plans that include Clubs. If you don't see it, ask your Uplifter contact.
Almost everything a club runs belongs on the Event Dashboard. The Club Dashboard has one job: collecting the year's club or team membership dues.
Use the Event Dashboard for
- Club events, such as a tryout, a social or a fundraiser.
- Seasonal programs, such as a fall or winter session.
- Education events, such as a course or clinic.
- Camps.
- Competitions.
Open Events in the left menu to create one. See Event Dashboard tabs.
Use the Club Dashboard for
Collecting the annual dues that come with becoming a member of the club or one of its teams. A club should have only one Club Dashboard per year. The exception is a club that uses club seasons, which groups several Club Dashboards into one season (see Combine Club Dashboards into a club season).
Club Dashboards also include the Affiliations tab, which helps the club and its association track who has an active association membership.
Open Clubs / Teams → Programs in the left menu, then open the Club Dashboard you want to work on.
What's on a Club Dashboard
Your admins set taxes and processing fees themselves. Members pay the fee in the final cart, or it's hidden from them and deducted from your payout.
What each tab is for
- Dashboard Home — the season at a glance, described below.
- Club Listing — how the club appears publicly: its name, season dates, address, contact details, logo and social media links.
- Configuration — registration dates, categories, registration rules, forms, agreements, page content, emails and permissions, set up the same way as an event's.
- Metrics — charts of where the season's registrants live and how they break down by province, gender and age.
- Reports — the season's reports. Select Update before Download so the CSV file includes the latest transactions.
- Affiliations — the club's affiliation or sanctioning application with its association, and who has an active association membership.
- Waitlist — people waiting for a spot in a full or closed category, with their rank and invitation status. People join it themselves; you invite them off it.
What Dashboard Home shows
- Registration Activity — complete registrations, unique registrants, registrations per day and the latest registrations. Cancelled and incomplete registrations aren't counted. Select View All Registrations or Manage Registrations for the full list.
- Listing Preview — the public listing and whether it's active or deactivated.
- Registration Configuration Overview — whether registration is open or closed, with its open and close dates and times.
- Financial Info — the account, organization group and payment processor that receive the money. Taxes and fees are set in Financials.
- Permissions Info — the account owner, and the admins who can work on the whole financial account or on this season only.
- Affiliation / Sanctioning — the application type, its status, the association's notes and any documents. No application yet? Select Add affiliation/sanctioning/permit and pick your association's process. When you finish, it's paired with this dashboard.
Before you open registration, check Listing Preview and Registration Configuration Overview, then select View Registration Page to see the season as a member would. After Submit For Review, Uplifter sends the configuration agreement, checks your merchant account if needed and approves the club.
For next season, select Clone Registration Process rather than building from scratch. The copy doesn't bring over this season's process-specific admins, so add them again.
