Your payouts go to the bank account your payment processor verified. To change it, go through your processor: Paysafe by email, Adyen in your Adyen portal, Stripe in your Stripe portal. Each one checks the new account first.
Applies to Enterprise
- You change your payout bank account through your payment processor, not in your Admin Dashboard. Each processor has its own way, below.
- The new account must be in your organization’s legal name, matching your merchant account exactly. A mismatch is the most common cause of delayed deposits.
- Expect your processor to verify the change. Have proof of the new account ready, such as a void cheque or a bank letter, and reply quickly to any request.
- Keep your old account open until a payout reaches the new one. Payouts already on their way still go to the old account.
- Switching processors or financial accounts is a different change. Only Uplifter can change the merchant account or the financial account a dashboard is paid into. Contact Uplifter Support.
To change the bank account your payouts go to, ask your payment processor to replace it, prove the new account is yours, and check that your next payout arrives there.
-
Find your processor
New clubs use Adyen; returning clubs usually use Paysafe; some platforms use Stripe. If you’re not sure which one pays you, contact Uplifter Support.
-
Get proof of the new account
Ask your bank for a void cheque or a bank letter in your organization’s legal name.
-
Ask your processor to change it
Follow the section for your processor below.
-
Check your next payout
Make sure it reaches the new account before you close the old one.
Paysafe
-
Email Paysafe
Write to customersupport@paysafe.com with your organization’s legal name, your merchant account and the new bank account.
-
Answer Paysafe’s verification
Paysafe asks you to confirm your identity and the new account. Send a void cheque or bank letter in the name that matches your Doing Business As name.
-
Wait for Paysafe to confirm
Paysafe confirms the change by email. Nothing changes in Uplifter.
Adyen
Adyen pays out every day to the one bank account connected to your Adyen account.
-
Open your Adyen portal
Sign in to your organization’s Adyen portal and go to your bank account details.
-
Replace the bank account and verify it
Enter the new account, then verify it with Adyen: sign in to your bank through Adyen’s page for an instant check, or upload a bank statement, deposit slip or cheque. A manual check can take up to 5 business days.
-
Let Uplifter confirm
Once Adyen has verified the new account, contact Uplifter Support. Uplifter confirms your payment processor is working and live.
Stripe
-
Sign in to your Stripe portal
Use the email and password you created your Stripe account with.
-
Replace the bank account
Change it in your Stripe portal. Stripe may ask you to verify it.
-
Check your payouts
Your payouts show on your financial account under Financials → Accounting.
Has the change gone through but a payout is still missing? Contact Uplifter Support with your financial account’s name and the payout date.
