Add a financial controller or administrator from the financial account’s Permissions tab under Financials → Accounting, or from any event or club dashboard.
- Only the financial account owner can add or remove controllers and administrators.
- The person needs an existing Uplifter login before you can add them.
- An administrator works on every event and club on the financial account. A controller sees its financials only, with no event, club or registration details. Give someone both roles if they need both.
Controllers and administrators are added on the financial account’s Permissions tab, under Financials → Accounting. You can also reach it from any event or club dashboard on that account.
-
Open the account’s permissions
Open Financials in the left menu and select Accounting. Choose the financial account from the list at the top, then select the Permissions tab. Already in an event or club dashboard? Configuration → Permissions → Manage Financial Organization Permissions is the fastest way there: it opens the same tab in a new browser tab.
-
Choose the role
Select Add New Controller under Financial Controllers, or Add New Administrator under Administrators.
-
Enter their details
Enter the person’s details, using the email address they sign in to Uplifter with, and save.
-
Check the list
They appear in the list with their user account email. To take access away, select Remove on their row. Every change is recorded in the History Log beside the lists.
Someone who needs one event or club only is better as a process-specific admin, set on that dashboard. They get no access to the rest of the account.
That includes an association or sanctioning body. With a process-specific admin role on your dashboard, association staff who are owners or administrators on the association’s own account can set registration rules and add, duplicate, edit and detach the association’s waivers. They don’t need an administrator role on your organization, and they can’t change your own waivers.
