On an Event Dashboard's Financials page, choose who pays the taxes and the processing fees, User Pays or Organizer Pays, and set the tax rate for domestic and international orders.
- You choose who pays, separately for taxes and for processing fees. User Pays adds them to the registrant’s cart. Organizer Pays takes them from your payout instead.
- Every event starts at no tax. Domestic Order and International Order are both set to 0% - No Tax until you change them.
- The purchaser’s address decides which rate applies. A purchaser in your country pays the domestic rate. Anyone else pays the international rate.
- The processing fee amounts are set by Uplifter. The Financials page shows your fee schedule, but you can’t change it there.
- Membership processes work differently. Uplifter sets who pays the processing fees on a membership; your organization doesn’t change it.
