When someone pays you by cash, cheque or offline debit, find their incomplete cart under Financials → Cart Payments, record the payment against a batch and complete the order.
Applies to Enterprise
- Recording an offline payment completes the person’s cart. Their registration or purchase goes through as if they had paid online.
- Every offline payment goes into a batch. Create a batch first; you can’t record a payment without one. A closed batch can’t take new payments.
- It only works when everything in the cart goes to your organization. A cart that also pays another organization can’t be completed offline.
- Payment group payments are recorded in the payment group, not here. See Manage payment groups as an association admin.
- You can show an offline payment message in the cart, telling people how to pay you. Contact Uplifter Support to add one.

Create a batch
Select Add New Batch. Keep the suggested name or change it, then select Add Batch.

-
Check the amount
Compare the Cart Total with what you received.
-
Enter the payment
Choose the method of payment: cash, cheque or offline debit. Choose whether to send the purchaser a receipt, and add a note if you need one, such as the cheque number. Select the batch.
-
Backdate it, if needed
The dates default to today. To match the date you were paid, such as the cheque date, change the product effective date, the membership effective date or the transaction date.
-
Submit
Select Submit. The order is complete.
Close a batch
When a batch is finished, select Close Batch and look up the batch by its name or ID. A closed batch no longer appears when you record a payment.
To download the completed order’s invoice afterwards, see Find, resend or download an order receipt or invoice.
