The three kinds of organization you can manage, where each one lives in the admin menu, and what its dashboard holds.
- Your account can hold three kinds of organization: membership, sanctioning and certification. Each has its own tools.
- You see only the organizations you manage, and a menu appears only when its product is active on your account.
- Each organization’s settings live on its own Configuration tab.
How membership, sanctioning and certification organizations are kept apart, and where to find each one.
The three kinds
- Membership organizations — member registration and membership dues.
- Sanctioning organizations — event and competition sanctioning, and clubs’ annual affiliations.
- Certification organizations — coaching, officiating and athlete certifications.
Where to find them
Open Memberships for a membership organization, or Certifications for a certification organization, in the left menu, then select the organization. Club affiliations and their applications are under Clubs / Teams.
What’s on an organization’s dashboard
A membership organization opens on Dashboard Home, with Metrics, Reports, Queued Items, Mass Edit & Printing and Configuration beside it. The other kinds have their own set of tabs, built around their work.
