Plan your association's season rollover with Uplifter. Your membership season opens first, then your clubs open theirs. With the Club Affiliation application product, Uplifter's season rollover service can clone every affiliated club's dashboard for you.
Applies to Enterprise
- Seasons change top-down. Your new membership season has to be set up before your clubs open theirs. Clubs can’t point their registration rules at a membership season that isn’t set up yet.
- Plan the date with Uplifter. Uplifter moves your membership types, prices, renewal rules and emails into the next season with you, on a date you agree.
- Uplifter can clone your clubs’ dashboards for you. The season rollover service is a white-glove service for associations with the Club Affiliation application product activated.
- Fees, dates and emails are set again each season. Send next season’s changes to Uplifter well before renewal opens.
Roll your association over to a new membership season by agreeing a date with Uplifter, opening your season before your clubs open theirs and, if you have Club Affiliation, asking Uplifter to clone your clubs’ dashboards.
-
Agree the date with Uplifter
Tell your Uplifter account manager when your new membership season opens, well ahead of time. Uplifter moves your membership types, prices, renewal rules and emails into the next season with you on that date.
-
Send next season’s changes
Send Uplifter any changed fees, dates and emails for your memberships and for your affiliation and sanctioning processes.
-
Check your partner connections
If a partner reads your memberships through the Member API or another connection, Uplifter re-points it to the new season. Without that step, the partner can start reading current members as non-members.
-
Ask for the season rollover service
If you have the Club Affiliation application product activated, Uplifter can clone every affiliated club’s dashboard into the new season, depending on your service agreement. Your season must be set up first.
-
Tell your clubs what to expect
If you use the service, tell your clubs not to clone their own dashboards, so no club ends up with two. Ask each club to add you as a process-specific admin on its new dashboard so you can update its registration rules for the new membership season.
-
Open your season first
Open your new membership season before your clubs open registration. Then your clubs can point their registration rules at it.
Applications that carry forward
Some affiliation and sanctioning processes let applicants copy last season’s application listing. It saves time, but out-of-date club contact details can come with it, so ask applicants to check them before they submit.
