Find membership applications that need review, check each one and approve it from Mass Edit & Printing.
- A membership that needs manual approval arrives as Requires Admin Attention and waits there until you change it.
- Processing means it’s paid and every agreement is signed, and it’s waiting for your approval. One still waiting on waiver signatures shows Pending Requirements.
- A membership is Issued once its waivers are signed and its requirements are complete.
Find the membership applications waiting for your review, check each one and approve it, all from the membership’s Mass Edit & Printing tab.
-
Open Mass Edit & Printing
Open Memberships in the left menu, open the membership, then select the Mass Edit & Printing tab.
-
Find applications to review
Under Search & Filters, set Membership Status to Requires Admin Attention or Processing, and select Search. Choose Pending Requirements instead to find the ones still waiting on waivers.
-
Review an application
Select the open icon at the end of a row to open that membership and check the member’s details and requirements. For a Pending Requirements membership, you can resend the waiver signature request from there.
-
Approve it
On the membership, select Edit under Purchased Groups, choose Issued (all the options are listed below) and select Save. To approve several at once, tick them in the results, choose the status under Update Status for selected members and select Update.
A membership that still has requirements to complete moves to Pending Requirements rather than Issued. Filter on that status to see who you’re still waiting on.
The status options
The Status list on a membership, and Update Status for selected members in Mass Edit & Printing, offer these statuses in this order:
- Manual Hold — on hold while an admin checks something.
- Processing — paid and every agreement signed, waiting for your approval.
- Issued — approved and valid. Choose this to approve an application.
- Cancelled — no longer valid and left out of membership reports. It doesn't refund anyone.
- Suspended — your association suspended the membership.
- Expired — its end date has passed.
- Requires Admin Attention — waiting for your review.
- Pending Requirements — bought, but something is outstanding, such as an unsigned waiver.
- Valid In Future — the start date hasn't arrived yet, as with a renewal bought early.
- Inactive, with a reason — Higher Level Achieved, Retired, Deceased, Moved out of the province, Inactive candidate or Pending validation.
Setting Issued sends your issued membership email, if your organization uses one. Other statuses send no email.
