Build one event, clone it for the others, then create the series in Events → Series and attach each Event Dashboard, so people can register for the whole series in one transaction from one registration link.
Applies to Enterprise
- A series lets people register for several events in one transaction, such as a circuit of weekend competitions, from one registration link.
- Each event keeps its own Event Dashboard: its categories, prices, forms and agreements. The series groups them for registration.
- We recommend building one event first, cloning it for the others, and creating the series last. You can also create the series first if you prefer.
- An event can only be attached to a series that already exists.
Build one event, clone it for the other events in the series, then create the series in Events → Series and attach each Event Dashboard to it. People register for the whole series in one transaction from the series registration link.
-
Build the first event
Create and configure one Event Dashboard: its categories, prices, forms and agreements. See Create an Event Dashboard.
-
Clone it for the other events
On the first event’s dashboard, select Clone event and set each copy’s name and dates. See Clone an Event Dashboard.
-
Create the series
In the left menu, select Events → Series and create a new series. Give it a name and the dates registration is open. The series gives you the master registration link for all its events.
-
Attach each event
Open each Event Dashboard from Events → Events and select Configuration → Configuration Overview. Under Associated Series, turn on My event is part of a series, choose the series and select Save.
-
Check the series and share its link
Open the series from Events → Series to see its events, then open its registration page and share that link.
If you create the series first
Create the series in Events → Series, then attach each event under Associated Series as you build or clone it.
To offer a lower price when someone registers for more than one event, see Set up multi-registration and combo discounts.
