Choose whether and when your event shows in the directory, the public search page, from Listing Overview in the event's Configuration Overview. The same page sets the registration system provider, venue, passphrase and series.
- You list an event from Configuration Overview, the first page of an Event Dashboard’s Configuration, above Required Setup and Optional Setup.
- Listing Visible controls the directory only. A hidden event doesn’t show in the directory, the public search page, but anyone with the link can still open its registration page, and search engines may still find it.
- Valid From and Valid To set when the event shows in the directory, if Listing Visible is on. They aren’t the registration dates.
- You can turn the listing on at any time. To keep people from registering while you build or test, use a passphrase rather than hiding the listing.
- Save before you leave the page. A You have unsaved changes bar appears until you select Save.
