Buy or renew your membership from your association's membership page, signed in to the account that holds your past memberships. Then follow its status until it's Issued.
Applies to Enterprise
- Sign in to the account that holds your past memberships. Avoid creating a new personal account: a new account starts empty, and your history stays on the old one. If your account needs updating, such as merging profiles or fixing a family account, contact your association. It escalates to Uplifter Support when needed.
- Renewing means buying the next membership. An expired membership isn’t extended. A renewal bought early shows as Valid In Future until its start date.
- Issued means your membership is valid. Until then, it may be waiting on a waiver you haven’t signed, or on your association’s approval.
- Prices, membership types and approvals belong to your association. Uplifter provides the platform and doesn’t approve memberships.
Buy a new association membership, or renew last season’s, from your association’s membership page, then check its status until it’s Issued.
-
Open your association’s membership page
Use the link on your association’s or club’s website. Or sign in and select Find a membership organization on your My Pages home. The page lists the memberships on offer and their prices. Some associations ask members to register through their club’s page instead.
-
Sign in to your existing account
Use the email address you bought your last membership with. Forgot the password? Select Reset password on the sign-in page. Don’t create a new account to get past a sign-in problem; ask your association for help instead.
-
Choose the person
Start the registration. Under Who do you want to register?, select the profile that held the membership before, then Register with their name. Registering someone new? Select Register Someone Else and enter their details. If a pop-up offers an existing profile for them, choose it.
-
Choose the membership
Select the membership type you need. Some associations show only the types open to the person’s age. Some also ask you to choose your club. If your club pays for your membership, enter the passcode the club gave you when asked, and those fees aren’t added to your cart.
-
Answer the questions
Fill in the association’s questions, and upload any document it asks for.
-
Sign the waivers
Read and agree to each waiver or agreement. When you register another adult, their waiver is emailed to them to sign.
-
Check the cart and pay
Review the cart. Select Edit Cart to remove an item you don’t need, such as a background check added automatically, and enter any coupon code here. Enter your card details and select Submit & Complete. A confirmation email follows, and your receipt is under Transaction History in My Pages.
After you pay: your membership’s status
Open Memberships, Licences & Certifications in My Pages to see your membership and its status.
- Pending Requirements — paid, but a requirement other than a waiver is still missing, such as a document, a photo or a background check. Select Action Needed beside the membership and finish it. The membership moves on by itself.
- Processing — paid, but not issued yet. A waiver may still need your signature, or your association hasn’t approved the application yet. If a required waiver is unsigned, sign it before you take part in any event; your association can send you a reminder. See Sign missing waivers or agreements on your membership. Otherwise nothing more is needed from you. Ask your association if it takes longer than you expect.
- Issued — your membership is valid. Where your association uses membership cards, your card is on the membership’s page, ready to download or print.
Registering for an event that requires a membership? A membership in Pending Requirements or Processing already counts, but sign any outstanding waiver before you take part.
