Change the status of many association memberships at once from Mass Edit & Printing, by filter or with Select All Results.
Applies to Enterprise
- Setting Issued by hand doesn’t check waivers or requirements, so a membership can be issued with something still missing.
- Select All Results takes every membership that matches your filters, not just the page on screen.
- Cancelled takes a membership out of reports but doesn’t refund anyone.
- There’s no undo. Reversing a change means finding the memberships again and setting their old status.
Change the status of many memberships at once from your membership organization’s Mass Edit & Printing tab, for example to issue every approved application or to cancel a group. Use it to change the status of many members at once.
-
Open Mass Edit & Printing
Open Memberships in the left menu, open the membership organization, then select the Mass Edit & Printing tab.
-
Find the memberships
Under Search & Filters, choose a Membership Status, narrow it by Membership Type, Affiliates or creation date if you need to, and select Search.
-
Select them
Tick the memberships in the results, or the box in the header row for the whole page. To take every match on every page, tick Select All Results. Number of selected memberships shows how many you have.
-
Choose the new status
Under Mass Edit Options, choose the status in Update Status for selected members. It becomes available once at least one membership is selected.
-
Update
Select Update. The Status column shows the new status. Moving memberships to Issued sends your issued membership email, if your organization uses one. Other statuses send no email.
Which statuses you can choose
Every membership status is in the list, from Manual Hold and Processing to Suspended, Expired and each Inactive reason. What each one means is in Association membership statuses explained.
To change a single membership, open it with the icon at the end of its row. To send money back after cancelling, see Issue a refund.
