Ask for a passphrase before anyone can register for your event, for invite-only registration or while you're still building it. Set it in Configuration Overview with a message in English and French.
- The passphrase pop-up opens at the start of registration. People who don’t have the passphrase can’t go any further.
- Use it for invite-only registration, or while you’re still building the event, and say so in the passphrase message.
- A passphrase doesn’t hide the event from the directory. To hide it, turn off Listing Visible in Configuration Overview.
- Both messages are required, English and French, even if your event runs in one language.

-
Open Configuration Overview
In the left menu, select Events → Events, then the gear icon or status button on the event’s row. Select Configuration → Configuration Overview.

Choose the language, if needed
Turn on Use this language only under a message to show that language only.
-
Save
Select Save on the You have unsaved changes bar. Share the passphrase with the people who should register.
