The setup order for a provincial or national organization on the Enterprise Portal: team, payments, memberships, clubs, events, certifications, reports.
- Every organization has one financial account owner, who grants administrators, financial controllers and process-specific admins.
- A membership attaches to a person's profile and is verified at registration. One login can hold a whole family.
- Clubs on Club 1.0 can still feed you members through FederationConnector; you review them from the club's dashboard in your portal.
- Sport-specific walkthroughs are available in Enterprise Guides, which cover each organization's unique requests and configurations.
- Need a person? Open a ticket from Resources in the left navigation menu of your Admin Dashboard, or submit a request on the knowledge base.
This is the setup order for a governing body on the Enterprise Portal. Each stage has its own how-tos; this page puts them in sequence so nothing is discovered late.
-
Set up your admin team
Start with Understand admin roles and permissions, then Add a financial controller or administrator and Add a process-specific admin to one event or club. Grant the narrowest role that does the job. On a club’s or organizer’s dashboard, you need at least a process-specific admin role to set registration rules, and an administrator role on their organization to add your own waivers to their events.
-
Connect payments
Set up a Paysafe merchant account or Set up your Stripe merchant account, then Manage GL codes so revenue lands in the right accounts. How processing fees are calculated explains what members and your organization each pay.
-
Build your membership program
Review your membership organization details, products and fees, then Customize your membership landing page and Edit the membership confirmation email and success message. Collecting a national or provincial fee in the same checkout? See Direct affiliation payments for provincial and national association memberships.
-
Bring your clubs on board
Manage club affiliation applications as an association is the approval queue; Managing organizations in your sports platform covers the rest. For clubs on Club 1.0, Set up membership requirements for a program with FederationConnector explains what the club sets and what you see.
-
Run events and sanctioning
Event Dashboard tabs covers your own competitions; clubs build theirs and submit them to you for approval. Recurring calendars use Set up a series of events.
-
Track certifications
Certifications menu introduces the Certification Tracking System (CTS). Then Set up certification course types and levels and Manage background checks.
-
Report and reconcile
Find and download reports and Create a self-serve custom report answer most questions. Run Merge duplicate profiles before each season. Bringing records in from elsewhere? Import memberships in bulk.
Stages 3 to 7 can run in parallel once payments are live, but nothing sells until step 2 is approved, so start that application first.
Where to go next
- Welcome to Uplifter Enterprise — the menu, tool by tool.
- Enterprise Guides — your organization's own process, where one exists.
- What's new in the updated admin interface — releases and the platform renames.
Need help? Open a ticket from Resources in the left navigation menu of your Admin Dashboard, which sends it to Uplifter Support without leaving the portal: see Submit a support request from Enterprise Admin. You can also submit a request on the knowledge base; it works even if the portal won't load.
