The setup order for a provincial or national organization on the Enterprise Portal: team, payments, memberships, clubs, events, certifications, reports.
- Every organization has one financial account owner, who grants administrators, financial controllers and process-level admins.
- A membership attaches to a person's profile and is verified at registration. One login can hold a whole family.
- Clubs on Club 1.0 can still feed you members through FederationConnector; you review them from the club's dashboard in your portal.
- Sport-specific walkthroughs are available in Enterprise Guides, a showcase any unique requests and configurations.
This is the setup order for a governing body on the Enterprise Portal. Each stage has its own how-tos; this page puts them in sequence so nothing is discovered late.
-
Set up your admin team
Start with Understand admin roles and permissions, then Add admins, financial controllers, and process-level permissions. Grant the narrowest role that does the job.
-
Connect payments
Set up a Paysafe merchant account or Set up your Stripe merchant account, then Manage GL codes so revenue lands in the right accounts. How processing fees are calculated explains what members and your organization each pay.
-
Build your membership program
Review your membership organization details, products, and fees, then Edit the membership landing page content and Edit the confirmation email and success message. Sharing fees with a national or provincial partner? See Cost-splitting provincial and national association memberships.
-
Bring your clubs on board
Manage club affiliation applications (for governing associations) is the approval queue; Managing organizations in your sports platform covers the rest. For clubs on Club 1.0, Set up membership requirements for a program with FederationConnector explains what the club sets and what you see.
-
Run events and sanctioning
What is Event Dashboard and how can I use it? covers your own competitions; clubs build theirs and submit them to you for approval. Recurring calendars use Set up a series of events.
-
Track certifications
What is certification tracking and how can I use it? introduces the Certification Tracking System (CTS). Then Create a certification course type and Manage background checks.
-
Report and reconcile
Download association membership reports and Create a self-serve custom report answer most questions. Run Find and list duplicate member profiles before each season. Bringing records in from elsewhere? Import memberships in bulk (CSV or Excel).
Stages 3 to 7 can run in parallel once payments are live, but nothing sells until step 2 is approved, so start that application first.
