The order to set up a club or event on Uplifter: platform, access, affiliation, payments, registration, then participants and money.
- Administrative visibility and access is controlled by your financial organization role.
- On Enterprise, a club affiliating with its governing body works from a Club Dashboard; a competition or event works from an Event Dashboard.
- Registration money is paid into your organization's merchant account, not to Uplifter. Set it up before you open registration.
- A club runs on one of three things: a Club Dashboard inside its governing body's Enterprise Portal, a Club 1.0 website, or a Club 2.0 website. Each has its own guides.
Setup runs in a fixed order, because each stage depends on the one before it. Work down the list once, then come back to any stage when you need to refine it.
-
Confirm your platform
Which Uplifter platform do I use? settles it, and the answer decides which guides you follow:
- Enterprise Club Dashboard — your club lives inside your governing body's portal. Steps 2 to 7 below are yours.
- Club 1.0 — your club's own website on the older platform. Follow the Quick start guide and the Website go-live checklist on Club 1.0 instead.
- Club 2.0 — your club's own website on the new platform. Follow Getting Started at docs.uplifter.app, nine steps from creating your organization to your first enrollment.
-
Get your admin access
Read Understand admin roles and permissions, then ask your financial account owner for the role you need.
-
Affiliate with your governing body
Follow Get my club affiliation approved by my governing association. Once approved, your Club Dashboard lists your members and their memberships. Stopped partway? Resume a partially completed affiliation application.
-
Connect payments
Your platform uses Paysafe or Stripe. Follow Set up a Paysafe merchant account or Set up your Stripe merchant account.
-
Build the registration
Start with When should I use Club Dashboard vs. Event Dashboard? For an event, Create a new or clone an existing Event Dashboard, then set registration categories, waivers and any coupon code, and finish with Submit my Event Dashboard for approval.
-
Take registrations
Most people register themselves. Otherwise: Manually register a participant for an event or club, Change a registration status and Registrant stuck or can't complete registration. Clubs also register club members for their association membership.
-
Follow the money
Record offline payments, Issue a refund and Download Club Dashboard and Event Dashboard reports cover the season's bookkeeping.
If a menu a guide describes isn't there, it's almost always your role, not the product. Check step 2 first.
