Resend a waiver that's still waiting on a parent, guardian or participant, so a paid membership can leave Pending Requirements.
- A membership stays in Pending Requirements until every waiver is signed, even though it's already paid for.
- When the person registering isn't the participant, or isn't a minor participant's parent or guardian, the waiver is emailed to the address they enter instead of being signed on the spot.
- Who counts as a minor comes from the age of consent set on the waiver, not from one fixed age.
- A resent waiver email carries a unique signing link for that member.
Resend a waiver that's still waiting on a parent, guardian or participant, so a paid membership can leave Pending Requirements. You do it from the member's Membership Details or from your club dashboard. Associations can also send it to every member with a pending waiver at once from Membership Organizations.
-
Find the membership
Search for the member in Quick Search and open the membership to reach Membership Details, which lists its requirements and waivers. A membership waiting on a signature shows Pending Requirements.
-
Check the email address
The address was typed by hand during registration, often on a phone. A typo means the waiver never arrived, and a resend to the same address fails the same way, so check it before you send.
-
Resend the waiver
From Membership Details, resend the signature request email. From a club dashboard instead:
- Open the Affiliate / Club tab, filter on Pending Requirements and select Search.
- Select View missing requirements on the row, then Resend waiver.
- Confirm the email and select Resend waiver email.
As an association, you can send the reminder to everyone at once instead. Open Membership Organizations, your association's version of the club or event dashboard, filter on Pending Requirements, and select Resend Missing Agreement Emails to email every member in the list. Each one gets their own signing link.
-
Tell the registrant
Let them know the registration and payment went through and only the waiver is outstanding. Tell them which address it went to, and ask the signer to check their junk or spam folder.
The membership leaves Pending Requirements by itself once the waiver is signed. A waiver signed with the wrong details can't be signed again from the link: email support@uplifterinc.com so Uplifter can reset it, then resend it from Membership Details. To head this off, add a line to your membership's purchase confirmation email for the processing status saying that a separate waiver email has gone to the signer (see Edit the confirmation email and success message).
